One-to-one Spanish lessons in Quito

Our classes in Quito are taught by the same experienced Spanish tutors as our online lessons. The programme offered is an intensive course of 4 - 8 hours per day for a minimum of 2 weeks. You can take lessons individually or with another person if you are travelling with somebody.

Lessons start on a Monday. There is a 20 minute break during 4 hour lessons when you can have a drink and chat with the other students. In consultation with your teacher it is also possible to arrange a visit to a market or museum during your lessons, so you can practice the Spanish you have learned. Besides the Spanish classes there are salsa and cooking classes available. Excursions are frequently organized during the weekends.

Host families

During your stay in Quito you will stay with an Ecuadorian family. This is a great opportunity to practice your Spanish and to experience the Ecuadorian culture. The families are selected with great care and have experience of being hosts to foreign students. All the host families live within walking distance from the school. Host families provide: a private room, 3 meals a day and laundry service.

We want you to enjoy your stay in Quito and provide you with help when you need it. Therefore we have a study coordinator who speaks Spanish and English. The coordinator can answer any questions you may have concerning the school, the host family, Quito, excursions etc. She can also accompany you if you need to visit a doctor or if you need to extend your visa. A 24-hour emergency phone number is available.
